The year was 1996 and someone needed a band to play for an event. Mark made a few calls and the first rendition of Jammer was together. Back then the name of the band was actually "The Barn Jammers". It was 6 years later when we dropped "The Barn" and just became known as "Jammer".

Over the years our name is not the only thing that has changed. Our first several years we were known for being a blend of County and Southern Rock. We slowly began playing more classic and modern rock and at the same time we found ourselves playing less and less Country. Of course many of those Country songs are easy to pull out if we get special requests from time to time. What the heck - it's all about making the audience happy - right!

We have played at large outdoor festivals and small smoky bars - wedding receptions and graduation parties. Over this many years we have made memories and had loads of fun with lots of people in lots of places. There have been many individuals who have been around to see us at many of the places we have played over many of the years we have played. We would like to sincerely thank each and every one of you for supporting us over the years. We would list all of you here on our web site if there weren't so damn many of you!

These days you can find us playing original music from our CD as well as cover tunes from your favorite classic and modern rock artists. We keep it loose and fun - just ask anyone who has spent an evening letting us entertain them! If you haven't had the opportunity to enjoy Jammer - you need to become "Jammerized"!
